About the job

DEPT® is looking for a New Business Manager to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will build relationships with key decision-makers and drive new business opportunities in digital experience and technology services.

What you will do

  • Build relationships with marketing and technology decision-makers at prospects
  • Represent the company in client conversations on digital experience and engineering
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outreach, events, and partnerships
  • Manage sales pipeline from first contact to signed proposal
  • Use CRM tools to track activity and report on progress
  • Work with delivery leads and strategists to build proposals and pitches

What you bring

  • Previous experience in business development or consultative sales in a digital agency or tech consultancy
  • Experience selling project-based work in digital experience, ecommerce, or technology services
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders at manager and director level
  • Structured approach to prospecting and pipeline management
  • Strong communicator who explains complex ideas clearly
  • Fluency in Dutch and English

Nice to have

  • Exposure to digital experience platforms, ecommerce solutions, or cloud services
  • Familiarity with multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Interest in AI and emerging technology in digital services
