About the job

Celonis is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to define the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for its largest client accounts. You will present to C-level executives, align strategic objectives with Celonis technical strategy, and bridge product and engineering teams with client teams.

What you will do

Define overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for largest client accounts
Present to customer C-level executives and align strategic objectives with Celonis technical strategy
Identify and architect solutions using emergent technologies like Agentic AI
Bridge product and engineering teams with client teams
Assess IT landscape maturity of customer installed base
Coach consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation issues

What you bring

10 to 15 years relevant experience as software vendor architect, CTO at consulting firm, or enterprise architect
Proven ability to think strategically and connect technical solutions to business value
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts to C-level executives
Experience in capability mapping, enterprise modernization, and understanding of Agentic AI
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS, ERP, CRM, cybersecurity, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise architectures
Strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and data-related languages like SQL and Python

Nice to have

Celonis certifications and experience with OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines
AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
ESB or ETL certifications like Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, Informatica
TOGAF or Zachmann certification
Experience in at least two domains among Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Management, HR, Procurement
Experience in at least two industries among Consumer Goods, Banking, Pharma, Aerospace, Telco, Transport
