Public Procurement Consultant

About the job

At Sia, you will help government and private organizations develop smarter procurement strategies. This role combines analytical rigor with practical process improvement to drive efficiency and transparency.

What you will do

• Develop procurement strategies with government and private organizations
• Assess and improve procurement processes for efficiency and transparency
• Conduct market research and analyze procurement needs
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations
• Assist in drafting public tender documents and evaluation criteria
• Train client staff on procurement best practices

What you bring

• Master degree in applied economics, law, engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics
• 3 to 6 years experience in consultancy or government
• Knowledge of public tendering procedures
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Analytical and autonomous
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Nice to have

• Interest in data and AI topics
• Willingness for temporary assignments abroad
• Knowledge of Belgian and international legislation
• French language skills
