About the job

As a Security Operations Engineer II at Mollie, you'll be at the forefront of protecting a fast-growing fintech company. Based in Amsterdam with a hybrid work model, you'll respond to and investigate security incidents while proactively hunting for threats.

What you will do

Respond to security incidents
Investigate and resolve security incidents
Develop and enhance security playbooks and runbooks
Collaborate with Security Engineering team
Proactively hunt for threats
Define monitoring scenarios and develop prototype rules

What you bring

Experience in a fast-growing product company
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
Strong understanding of security concepts
Experience with SIEM and SOAR
Experience with Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting
Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks

Nice to have

Experience working within a SecOps team
Experience with EDR tools like Crowdstrike or Sysdig
Experience in a DevOps environment with DevSecOps approach
Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP
Experience with Linux, macOS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab
Experience automating workflows with Python scripting
