About the job
GRESB is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will build and maintain data pipelines and services that support annual standards and methodology. You will also shape data models and own data quality through validation and monitoring.
What you will do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and services for annual standards and methodology
- Shape data models and schemas for products and serving layers
- Own data quality and reliability through validation, automated testing, and monitoring
- Make data discoverable and documented with definitions, lineage, and pipeline logic
- Guide architecture decisions and raise engineering standards through design and code review
What you bring
- Track record of building and running data pipelines and services in production
- Strong Python and SQL with data analysis skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure as code, containers, and continuous deployment
- Solid grounding in data modeling and warehouse design
- Ability to take ambiguous problems from diagnosis to shipped solution
- Comfort with context-heavy work and domain detail
Nice to have
- Experience in sustainability, real estate, or financial services
