Flexport is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Customs team in Amsterdam. In this hybrid role, you will build systems that model logistics entities and cargo movement, and design integrations with government agencies and partners. You will work with business partners and product managers to turn complex problems into technical solutions.

What you will do

Build systems that model logistics entities and cargo movement
Ship products rapidly and incrementally multiple times per day

Automate customs filing processes to reduce manual work
Deliver supply chain insights through analytics

What you bring

At least 5 years of software engineering experience
Strong engineering background
Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Proactive problem-solving attitude
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Quick learning ability
