CM.com is seeking an External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to join their team in Breda. You will take ownership of financial reporting and technical accounting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP while driving process improvements through AI and automation.

What you will do

Apply IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards and write technical accounting position papers
Prepare internal and external financial reports including sustainability and remuneration reporting and quarterly press releases
Coordinate audits with external auditors domestically and internationally
Perform financial analysis and controls during month-end and year-end closings
Identify opportunities for AI and automation to improve financial processes

What you bring

Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
Several years of big 4 experience and background in Accountancy
Strong technical accounting knowledge including Dutch GAAP and IFRS and audit experience
Proactive, analytical, hands-on mindset with ownership and accuracy
Strong interest in automation and AI
Professional proficiency in English and Dutch

Nice to have

RA or CPA qualification
Advanced Excel skills and affinity with BI tools
Experience in an internationally operating organization
