METRO/MAKRO is looking for a Commercial Sourcing & Selling Expert in Meat to join the team in Delft. This role focuses on managing supplier portfolios, negotiating, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the meat category. What you will do
- Ensure procedures and processes are followed
- Manage supplier portfolios and assortment in meat category
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers
- Keep supplier and market information updated
- Handle daily business with stakeholders including pricing, ordering, exports, documentation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate across departments for end-to-end customer service
What you bring
- Communicatively eloquent, professional, proactive
- Minimum 4 years' work experience in ultra fresh industry
- Fluent in English
- Curious and assertive
- Accurate and result driven
- Commercial experience in meat or ultra fresh industry
Nice to have
- Experience in meat industry (pork, poultry, beef)
- Fluency in Spanish, Italian, French, German
- Good insight into procurement and sourcing
