About the job

Qualinx is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Delft. In this role, you will take ownership of embedded software projects, from understanding user requirements to writing and debugging C code. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers while mentoring junior team members.

What you will do

Understand user requirements and write specifications for embedded applications
Write, debug, and troubleshoot C code
Design, develop, and implement unit and functional tests
Improve code for speed or power consumption
Collaborate with hardware, application software, and lead engineers
Maintain embedded software products and mentor junior team members

What you bring

Strong team player and ability to work independently
Take ownership of projects in design and implementation
Proficient in embedded C programming with debugging skills
Able to critically review C code and provide feedback
Proficient in Python programming
10+ years experience as an Embedded Software Engineer

Nice to have

Experience in the semiconductor industry
In-depth knowledge of GNSS positioning technologies
Experience with FPGAs
Knowledge of CMake
Hardware background and ability to debug and read schematics
