Lefebvre Sdu is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Den Haag. In this role, you will build and improve the pipeline that transforms content into knowledge for AI agents, working with Python for new components and Java for existing code.

What you will do

Build and improve the pipeline that converts content into knowledge for AI agents
Work on the quality of reranking so the agent gets the right information
Help shape the approach for retrieval and knowledge extraction
Work in Python for new components and in Java for existing code
Make technical decisions without direct supervision

What you bring

Experience with Python and Java
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience in a SaaS, product-driven organization or scale-up
Ability to work autonomously

Nice to have

Experience with Scala or Kotlin
