Lely is looking for a Backend Developer to join their team in Maassluis. In this hybrid role, you will design and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to build future-proof platform modules.

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to future-proof platform modules and integrate with existing systems
Improve software quality, maintainability, and performance through testing and refactoring
Help ensure secure and reliable systems with authentication and cybersecurity practices

What you bring

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in backend software development
Experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern backend frameworks like ASP.NET Core or ExpressJS
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud or container technologies such as Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes
Interest in software quality, testing, and secure development practices
