This role focuses on developing and executing long-term category strategies for mechanical parts and assemblies at NTS. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier accounts, and drive supplier development programs. Based in Eindhoven, this position offers the opportunity to shape procurement within a high-tech environment.

What you will do

Develop and execute long-term category strategies for mechanical parts and assemblies
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including contract negotiations and supplier agreements
Manage strategic supplier accounts and negotiate QLTCS aspects
Drive supplier development programs focused on quality, capacity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation
Conduct market intelligence and cost analysis including TCO and should-cost modeling
Lead cross-functional sourcing projects and track category performance with KPIs

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 10 years of strategic procurement experience in mechatronics or related field
Proven experience setting up and executing supplier category strategies
Strong background in supplier development, cost optimization, and risk management
Hands-on experience in contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and cost modeling
Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs and translate constraints into sourcing requirements
