About the job

NTS in Hengelo is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) to bridge the gap between customer specifications and production. In this role, you translate design requirements into efficient manufacturing processes for high-tech machining.

What you will do

Translate customer specifications into production approach
Set up and optimize production processes in high-tech machining
Prepare production documents like drawings and work instructions
Analyze process data and initiate improvements
Work with operators to improve manufacturability
Serve as technical contact in NPI projects

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
Strong technical insight into manufacturability, tolerances, and metalworking
Affinity or experience in high-tech production environment, preferably machining
Analytical skills to translate design choices into process impact
Strong communication skills to switch between engineering and shop floor
Good command of Dutch spoken and written

Nice to have

Knowledge of quality methods like SPC, CPK, PFMEA and root cause analysis
