EVERIENCE is looking for a Senior PLC Designer to join their team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will act as the Electronic Development representative in a multidisciplinary design team, defining requirements and design decisions for software development. You will also interact with colleagues from the function and software departments.
What you will do
- Act as Electronic Development representative in multidisciplinary design team
- Define requirements and design decisions for SW development
- Interact with function and SW department colleagues
- Define and maintain SW safety component specifications and safety design for Beckhoff PLCs
- Perform trade-off studies for implementation scenarios
- Define automatic testing solutions for code integration
What you bring
- Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Multiple years of experience as Designer Beckhoff PLC SW (TwinCAT3)
- Experience with PLC applications (SOFT-PLC, SAFETY-PLC, HMI)
- Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#)
- Experience in testing phase of V model
- Experience with automatic test equipment
