Delta Electronics is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer to support packaging automation solutions across Europe. In this hybrid role based in Helmond, you will provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, design engineering solutions, and help drive market insights.

What you will do

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for packaging automation solutions
Assess customer requirements and design engineering solutions
Troubleshoot complex technical issues on-site or remotely
Support sales team with technical presentations and product demonstrations
Gather market insights and track packaging industry trends
Deliver technical training sessions and mentor junior engineers

What you bring

Over 10 years of experience in packaging machinery industry
Deep technical expertise in Flowpack and Vertical Form-Fill-Seal applications
Minimum 3 years as FAE, Commissioning Engineer, or Automation Engineer in packaging machinery
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
Strong proficiency in PLC programming and motion control systems
Fluent in English

Nice to have

Experience with Beckhoff, B&R, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Rockwell automation brands
Fluency in German, Italian, or French
