About the job
Signicat is looking for a Senior Java Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join the ReadID team in Enschede. You will develop and maintain the SaaS backend, manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes, and build CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime releases. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with modern cloud technologies and drive infrastructure-as-code.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain the ReadID SaaS backend
- Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes across clouds
- Build CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime releases
- Write clean, modular, and tested code with APIs and documentation
- Participate in release testing and validation
- Drive infrastructure-as-code and observability
What you bring
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of server-side Java engineering (Java 17+, Spring/Spring Boot)
- Experience with GCP or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and relational databases
- Strong grasp of application security and OWASP guidelines
- Full professional English proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
- Familiarity with Terraform and ArgoCD
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
- Google Cloud or CKA certification
