QPS is looking for a Laboratory Manager to lead daily operations in their Clinical Safety Lab in Groningen. You will oversee laboratory processes, staff, and compliance in a science-driven environment.
What you will do
- Lead daily clinical safety laboratory operations
- Develop laboratory processes, systems, and workflows
- Supervise and develop laboratory staff
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements
- Oversee instrumentation, maintenance, and new methods
- Coordinate laboratory planning and consumables
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in a regulated laboratory
- Proven people management experience with laboratory staff
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and GCP, ISO 15189, Dutch regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Business-level English and at least B1-level Dutch
Nice to have
- Experience in clinical safety testing, CRO, or pharmaceutical setting
- Experience helping establish a laboratory or improve operations
