About the job
Planet is looking for a Customer Success Manager to support public sector clients in CEE and Central Asia. You will help government entities integrate satellite imagery into critical workflows for environmental monitoring, emergency response, and sustainable development.
What you will do
- Manage and expand relationships with public sector entities in CEE and Central Asia
- Help customers integrate Planet imagery into workflows for environmental monitoring, emergency response, land management, maritime surveillance, and sustainable development
- Own gross and net retention metrics for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with Account Executives on unified account strategies
- Map long-term account trajectories to identify risks and expansion opportunities
- Co-create success plans and QBRs to demonstrate ROI of Planet solutions
What you bring
- 4+ years experience in Customer Success or account management, ideally with government customers
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products
- Experience working with sales organizations and commercial business models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Russian and English
- Willingness to travel to connect with customers and internal teams
Nice to have
- Proficiency in CRM and CS tools like Salesforce, Gainsight, Zendesk
- Ability to translate customer data into actionable insights
- Knowledge of additional regional languages across Central and Eastern Europe
- Experience leading organizational change management
- Experience with Public Procurement and Tender Processes
