About the job
Planet is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Haarlem. You will focus on identity provider architecture and automation, working to reduce operational toil and improve incident response. This is a hybrid role where you'll help scale and secure the company's infrastructure.
What you will do
- Architect and maintain identity providers (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak)
- Engineer automated JML workflows from HRIS (HiBob)
- Use Python or Go to automate tasks and build provisioning connectors
- Reduce operational toil through automation
- Manage configurations as code with Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve incident response
What you bring
- 6+ years in infrastructure development or operations with IAM focus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise with Python
- Experience with large web applications or clusters and identity architectures (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak)
- Experience integrating HRIS with identity directories
- Understanding of network principles and identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM)
Nice to have
- Operational experience with databases
- Experience with Docker, ECS, or Linux Containers
- Awareness of systems security and defensive programming
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Experience with virtual machines (KVM, ProxMox)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
