About the job

NTS in Hengelo is looking for a Configuration & Logistics Engineer to manage product data and ensure accurate configuration control. This hybrid role involves translating customer specifications into production-ready bills of materials and collaborating across engineering, supply chain, and production teams.

What you will do

Translate customer E-BOMs into production-oriented M-BOMs in the PLM system
Set up and maintain item data, bills of materials, and parameters in the ERP system
Responsible for correct configuration management of product data and changes
Identify and implement changes in consultation with Project and Product Management
Visualize impact on stock, work in progress, and production
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production for data quality

What you bring

MBO+ or HBO level, preferably technical or logistics
Experience with ERP systems and product structures such as BOMs and item data
Accurate, structured, and data-driven working style
Affinity with technical products and production environments
Strong in analysis, collaboration, and improvement
Good communication skills and proactive attitude

Nice to have

Affinity with PLM systems such as Windchill
