Destinus is seeking an R&D Test Engineer to lead test campaigns for turbojet engines and components at their facility in Hengelo. You will manage end-to-end testing, from planning to post-analysis, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success.
What you will do
- Plan and manage end-to-end test campaigns for turbojet engines and components
- Build and maintain test campaign schedules
- Translate design requirements into test plans and procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during test campaigns
- Track campaign progress and manage risks
- Oversee data acquisition and post-test analysis
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years experience in test engineering for turbojet or similar engines
- Strong understanding of gas turbine thermodynamics and instrumentation
- Project management skills including scheduling and risk management
- Experience with data acquisition and analysis software
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Familiarity with high-altitude flight testing
- Knowledge of European aerospace standards
