About the job

NTS in Hengelo is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality meets customer requirements. You will establish selection criteria, audit suppliers, and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

What you will do

Establish supplier selection criteria based on customer requirements
Make strategic choices with Tactical Buyers for supplier selection and qualification
Audit new and existing suppliers and prepare annual audit plan
Validate supplier processes and release from quality perspective
Flow down quality requirements to suppliers and ensure timely delivery
Analyze supplier quality KPIs and initiate actions

What you bring

Completed HBO education in Technical or Business Administration
Knowledge of quality systems and standards like ISO 9001
Knowledge of production processes and cleanroom requirements
Command of quality tools such as 8D methodology
Experience with internal and external auditing according to ISO 9001
Strong communication skills, analytical ability, and results-oriented attitude

Nice to have

Knowledge of AS9100, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485
Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and MSA
Knowledge of statistical techniques like Six Sigma
Basic knowledge of project management
