About the job
Destinus is looking for a Technical Documentation Writer to join their team in Hengelo. In this role, you will develop and manage technical documentation for turbojet engines, translating complex propulsion concepts into user-friendly manuals.
What you will do
- Develop and manage technical documentation for turbojet engines
- Translate complex propulsion concepts into user-friendly documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy
- Create documentation for engine operation, maintenance, and repair
- Build and maintain a technical knowledge base
- Establish documentation standards and templates
What you bring
- Experience in technical writing in aerospace or similar industry
- Ability to understand mechanical systems and write clear documentation
- Experience creating technical manuals and engineering documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with documentation tools like MadCap Flare or DITA
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
- Educational background in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with gas turbines, turbojet engines, or UAVs
- Familiarity with aerospace standards like EASA or ITAR
- Experience with engineering lifecycle tools
