About the job

HeadFirst B.V. is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability and performance of their Azure platform. You will work on monitoring, automation, and incident response in a hybrid setting based in Hoofddorp.

What you will do

Improve reliability, availability, and performance of Azure platform
Build monitoring, logging, and alerting with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor
Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting
Design self-healing capabilities and automated remediation
Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analyses
Define and improve Service Level Indicators and Objectives

What you bring

7+ years experience as SRE, Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Experience with observability tools like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar

Nice to have

Experience with Azure Databricks
Experience with SnapLogic or similar integration platforms
Dutch language skills
