About the job
HeadFirst B.V. is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, availability, and performance of their Azure platform. You will focus on automating operational tasks, improving monitoring and alerting, and designing self-healing capabilities. This role is based in Hoofddorp.
What you will do
- Improve reliability, availability and performance of Azure platform
- Build and improve monitoring, logging and alerting with Grafana and OpenTelemetry
- Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting
- Design self-healing capabilities and automated remediation
- Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analyses
- Define and improve Service Level Indicators and Objectives
What you bring
- 4+ years as Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Experience with observability tooling like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor or Log Analytics
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or similar languages
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Databricks
- Experience with SnapLogic or similar integration platforms
