OpenFX is seeking a Security & Compliance Engineer to design and maintain technical and operational controls for frameworks like DORA, GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. You will translate regulatory language into security mechanisms and work closely with engineering to embed compliance into the platform.
What you will do
- Design and maintain technical and operational controls for DORA, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001
- Translate regulatory language into security mechanisms
- Prepare and run audits, collect evidence, track remediation
- Work with engineering to embed compliance into platform
- Automate compliance validation with scripts and tooling
What you bring
- 6+ years in security engineering or compliance-focused security roles
- Hands-on experience implementing DORA in production
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls
- Strong knowledge of AWS security fundamentals
- Comfortable owning auditor interactions
- Experience automating security or compliance processes
Nice to have
- Experience securing Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with AppSec tooling
- Experience with AWS security services
- Prior work in fintech or regulated infrastructure
- Security or compliance certifications
- Familiarity with EU financial regulators
