About the job

Syngenta Group is seeking an Agronomist to focus on Solanaceae crops in Active Greenhouse environments. Based in Maasland, you will develop crop-management protocols and provide technical guidance across Northwest Europe.

What you will do

Develop and adapt crop-management protocols for Active Greenhouse environments
Provide technical and commercial guidance on greenhouse set-up and crop management
Collaborate with growers, customers, and sales teams across EAME, focusing on Northwest Europe
Translate grower feedback and market insights into variety recommendations
Support customer visits, demonstrations, technical events, and presentations

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy or related field
Experience in Active Greenhouse environment or greenhouse crop management
Understanding of horticultural market and grower needs
Knowledge of crop management, plant physiology, and greenhouse conditions
Experience with climate-control systems, irrigation, hydroponics, or crop-management technologies
Ability to translate technical knowledge into practical protocols
