Cloud Edge Engineer

About the job

Lely is looking for a Cloud Edge Engineer to join their team in Maassluis. In this role, you will develop and improve the Edge platform of the Lely Hub, working with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. The position offers a hybrid work environment and a culture that encourages learning and ownership.

What you will do

• Develop and improve the Edge platform of the Lely Hub
• Build and maintain Helm charts for applications on Edge Kubernetes
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for controlled software rollout
• Set up and enhance observability and monitoring
• Collaborate with development teams for safe and reliable application deployment
• Develop and integrate tooling for the platform

What you bring

• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience as platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineer
• Experience with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes environments
• Knowledge of Helm and managing container-based applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, for example with GitLab
• Structured way of working and interest in reliable and secure platform architectures
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Nice to have

• Experience with Talos Linux, Omni, Python, KubeVirt, Cilium, Grafana stack, ArgoCD, or Multus
