About the job
Ockto is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will drive reliability, resilience, and cloud security while upholding privacy and ethical standards.
What you will do
- Design, build and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
- Drive reliability and resilience through observability, incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery
- Strengthen cloud security posture and operate controls for SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Keep cloud cost efficient
- Drive structured adoption of AI-assisted development workflows
- Uphold privacy and ethical standards
What you bring
- 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation)
- Experience with Linux, networking and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring and observability
- Experience securing cloud platforms using IAM, secrets management and infrastructure hardening
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS security tooling (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector or CloudTrail)
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other security frameworks
- Experience in fintech or another regulated environment
- Experience introducing AI-assisted tooling responsibly in a regulated or data-sensitive environment
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge)
