Redwood Software is looking for a Senior Java / SAP Full Stack Developer to join their team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will design and maintain Java microservices, optimize AI-generated code, and lead the development of distributed connectivity components for SAP systems.
What you will do
- Design and maintain Java microservices with Spring Boot
- Review and optimize AI-generated code for performance and security
- Lead design of distributed connectivity components for SAP ECC and S/4HANA
- Apply prompt engineering for AI tools in testing and documentation
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment with Kubernetes and Docker
- Enhance automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
What you bring
- 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience
- Proficiency in Spring Ecosystem (Boot, Data, Security)
- Deep understanding of OOD, design patterns, and microservices architecture
- Experience with SAP Clean Core principles in ECC and S/4HANA
- Familiarity with SAP Basis, RFC connections, and system integration
- Proficiency in DevOps practices including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Nice to have
- Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Understanding of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with TDD or BDD
- Experience in automation or SaaS industry
- Contributions to open-source projects or strong GitHub portfolio
