Redwood Software is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver backend services for their enterprise automation platform. You will build scalable services and APIs using Java and Spring, and contribute to distributed system architecture.

- Build integrations with enterprise systems and cloud services
- Own backend features through full lifecycle
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years backend development experience with Java 11/17+
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and production services
- Experience with distributed systems design
- Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies
- Experience building SaaS or enterprise software
- Experience decomposing monolithic systems
- Experience with Spring Security and authentication patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with application performance profiling
