About the job

ClickHouse is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Product Metrics team. You will define the roadmap, deliver new features, and operate petabyte-scale systems in a fully remote environment.

What you will do

Determine roadmap for Product Metrics team
Deliver new features and iterate on them
Design, build, operate, and maintain petabyte-scale systems
Ensure performance, reliability, availability, and cost-efficiency of systems
Mentor team members and participate in design discussions
Participate in on-call rotation and own services

What you bring

5+ years experience building scalable distributed systems
2+ years experience with Golang
Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with large-scale data storage and retrieval using ClickHouse
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal, and Terraform

Nice to have

Experience with ClickHouse
Experience writing Kubernetes operators or controllers
Experience with Kafka streaming
