Avery Dennison is looking for a Circularity Specialist to join their team in Oegstgeest. In this hybrid role, you will serve as the technical expert on recyclability, reuse, and compostability, collaborating with global business units to turn circularity challenges into opportunities.
What you will do
- Serve as technical expert on recyclability, reuse, and compostability
- Collaborate with global business units to turn circularity challenges into opportunities
- Participate in industry committees and standards organizations
- Build and execute global readiness roadmaps for regulations
- Monitor global circularity pathways and market shifts
What you bring
- 5–7 years experience in corporate sustainability, packaging engineering, material science, or technical sustainability consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or related technical field
- Technical capability in Design for Recycling, circular packaging design, compostability standards, and end-of-life recovery systems
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences
- Working knowledge of global environmental regulations on packaging and labeling
Nice to have
- Knowledge of textile and apparel circularity
- Leadership history on industry trade association technical committees
- Master's degree
