About the job

Boskalis is looking for a Technical Superintendent Maintenance to oversee vessel repairs and maintenance from its Papendrecht office. You will coordinate repair projects and ensure compliance across the fleet.

What you will do

Prepare and coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance and repair projects
Conduct regular vessel inspections to verify compliance
Act as primary contact for vessel teams during repair projects
Coordinate repair activities between vessel teams, shipyards, suppliers, and contractors
Develop tender-ready work packages and work orders
Monitor project performance regarding safety, quality, cost, and schedule

What you bring

Vocational or higher vocational degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar
Experience as Technical Superintendent, Chief Engineer, Works Manager, or similar in maritime industry
Experience preparing and executing dry-dockings and repair projects
Strong technical knowledge of vessel machinery and systems
Experience working with shipyards, suppliers, and contractors
Good command of written and spoken English

Nice to have

Commercial awareness
Familiarity with planned maintenance management systems
Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards
