About the job
ZT Systems is looking for a Product Quality Engineer to drive customer satisfaction and quality improvements. In this role, you will interface with key customers and suppliers, resolve quality issues, and lead cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Interface with key customers and suppliers to meet customer satisfaction and scorecard expectations
- Provide guidance and escalation support to customer and product quality engineers
- Drive resolution of customer issues within service level agreements
- Mitigate quality issues affecting customers and internal operations
- Identify systematic and process improvements with cross-functional teams
- Host quality-related customer visits and audits
What you bring
- Engineering BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar field with 8+ years experience (or MS with 6+ years)
- Experience in computer or electronic manufacturing industries
- Track quality issues across multi-functional teams
- Interface effectively at all organizational levels including executive
- Strong leadership skills to drive complex issues to closure
- Manage quality issue diagnosis, root-cause determination, and corrective actions
Nice to have
- Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification
- Experience in a global organization
- Experience leading and mentoring less-experienced team members
- Experience creating win-win scenarios with multiple stakeholders
