Valsoft Corporation is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in a hybrid setup across NL, BE, DE, LU, or FR. This role focuses on managing period close tasks, reconciling inter-company transactions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
What you will do
- Perform period close tasks and complex journal entries
- Analyze and review balance sheet accounts
- Follow up with vendors on missing invoices and manage cost accruals
- Process payments and bank transfers with proper approvals
- Reconcile inter-company transactions
- Prepare payroll tax returns, VAT returns, and ICP declarations
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Multi-currency and multi-divisional experience
- Expertise in accrual accounting
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Professional qualification in bookkeeping or accounting
- Netsuite experience
- Dutch, German, or French language skills
