Mozilla is looking for a Senior Manager of Accounting & Finance to lead its finance function, including accounting, planning, tax, treasury, and operations. This fully remote role involves managing a finance team and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

What you will do

Lead finance function including accounting, planning, tax, treasury, and operations
Manage and develop finance team
Oversee monthly and annual close, reporting, reconciliations, and controls
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
Develop management reporting and visualizations
Oversee tax, audit, VAT/GST, and corporate filings

What you bring

15+ years of relevant professional experience
Significant accounting or controllership experience with US GAAP
5+ years of people management in finance or accounting
Experience with subscription, SaaS, or digital-product revenue models
Experience with partner-led commercial arrangements
Working knowledge of merchant-of-record, payment platforms, and international VAT/GST

Nice to have

Experience in a subsidiary or federated organizational structure
Prior work supporting establishment of a new legal entity or expansion
Familiarity with Intacct, Ramp, or comparable systems
Experience in a mission-driven, open-source, or nonprofit-affiliated organization
