About the job

Mozilla is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing for US and Canadian employees. You will ensure compliance with tax regulations, resolve payroll issues, and act as a subject matter expert on payroll best practices.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US and Canadian employees
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting
  • Resolve payroll issues with internal and external partners
  • Partner with People Operations, Benefits, and vendors for accurate deductions
  • Act as subject matter expert for payroll best practices and system capabilities
  • Assist with year-end activities including W-2s, T4s, tax filings, and audits

What you bring

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably US and Canadian
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations
  • Experience with payroll systems, ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills

Nice to have

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent designation
