Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join the AI Data team, focusing on discovering new audio data sources and building reliable pipelines. In this role, you will own engineering projects from discovery to implementation and collaborate closely with AI Scientists to improve training datasets.

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development fundamentals
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
Experience with production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing
Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (GCP, Terraform)
Familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing
