Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join the AI Data team, focusing on discovering new audio data sources and building robust data pipelines. This remote role involves collaborating with AI Scientists to create high-quality training datasets and owning projects from start to finish.

What you will do

Discover new audio data sources and build pipelines
Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems
Collaborate with AI Scientists on training datasets
Own engineering projects from discovery to improvement

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
Experience with production systems, data pipelines or large-scale data processing
Strong problem-solving and independent work skills

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data processing
Experience with GCP and Terraform
Familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing
