Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join its AI Data team. You will work on discovering new audio data sources, building reliable pipelines, and improving large-scale data-processing systems.

What you will do

Discover new audio data sources and build reliable pipelines
Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems
Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve training datasets
Own engineering projects from discovery to implementation

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development fundamentals
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
Experience with production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing
Strong problem-solving and independent work skills

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing
Experience with GCP and Terraform
Familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing
