Tomra is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Benelux region, focusing on the Netherlands and Flanders. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of recycling systems through commissioning, maintenance, and technical support. You will work remotely while traveling extensively across the region.
What you will do
- Perform field service activities including commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of recycling systems
- Prepare detailed service reports after each installation, maintenance, or technical intervention
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of service activities, expenses, and other documentation
- Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance teams and internal service engineers
- Provide technical support via phone and respond to customer and equipment issues in the field
- Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams by providing technical expertise
What you bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, or technician certification with relevant experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Professional proficiency in English
- Proven technical problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with a structured approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across different countries and cultures
- Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium (approximately 80% travel)

- Additional language skills, particularly Dutch or Flemish
