About the job
Careerstrengo is looking for a Financial Controller Working Student to support the finance team in Utrecht. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in monthly reporting, bookkeeping, and audit preparation.
What you will do
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, including schedules and reconciliations
- Perform daily accounting activities such as bookkeeping and invoice handling
- Support actual vs. budget analysis
- Assist during annual audit, including preparing documentation
- Maintain accurate books and documentation
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and process improvement
What you bring
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping through internships or student jobs
- Comfortable with daily bookkeeping and eager to learn reporting and audit
- Basic understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting
- Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
- Organized, reliable, and able to work with a Financial Controller
