About the job

Cross Border Talents is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Venlo. You will design mechanical components and units using NX CAD/CAE and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team.

What you will do

  • Design mechanical components and units in NX CAD/CAE
  • Specify, realize and verify mechanical design requirements
  • Document units and parts with drawings, instructions, requirements
  • Perform tolerance decompositions in units
  • Review with vendors
  • Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Skilled in parametric CAD/CAE systems, Siemens NX preferred
  • Eye for detail and excellent problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of design principles for precision mechanisms
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies like machining, sheet metal, plastics
  • Team player, hands-on, practical, analytic, goal oriented

Nice to have

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written; Dutch knowledge is a plus
