Field Service Technician

About the job

As a Field Service Technician at SYNTEGON, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites and the facility in Weert. You will troubleshoot technical issues, assist with machine commissioning, and provide on-site support to customers.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites and facility
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
• Assist with final assembly, testing, and commissioning of machines
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers
• Document service activities and repairs
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide feedback

What you bring

• MBO level 4 in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or related field
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Good communication and customer-focused approach
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel

Nice to have

• Experience in food and beverage, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sector
• Familiarity with vertical filling and sealing machines
