Bertelsmann-Jobs is looking for a Transport Manager to oversee carrier management and transportation optimization in Echt. This role focuses on developing contracts, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring efficient logistics operations.

What you will do

Manage carrier onboarding, performance reviews, and corrective actions
Develop and manage contracts, SOWs, and SOPs
Analyze transportation requirements and design tailored solutions
Optimize transportation networks, route planning, and load consolidation
Monitor carrier performance against KPIs and act as escalation point
Collaborate with carriers to secure capacity during peaks and projects

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
3-6 years experience in transportation management or carrier management
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of TMS/SAP for warehouse activities
