Axelera is looking for an AI Systems Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure behind intelligent agent systems and AI workloads. You will own capabilities from implementation through production, working on secure execution environments, accelerated computing, and model deployment.

- Build reliable agent systems, intelligent tools and application integrations
- Develop secure, scalable execution environments for AI workloads
- Build and maintain platform capabilities including accelerated computing and remote workload execution
- Deploy and optimize computer vision models, LLM services and inference infrastructure
- Own capabilities from implementation and hardware validation through production operation
- Write documentation, setup instructions and operational runbooks
Wat je meebrengt
- Practical experience building with AI agents, model APIs and tools
- Understanding of how agents interact with applications, manage state and recover from failures
- Ability to use coding agents effectively while retaining ownership of correctness and technical decisions
- Experience with tool calling, structured outputs, streaming or MCP
- Understanding of how AI workloads run across applications, hosts and accelerated hardware
- Hands-on experience deploying computer vision models and working with LLM services
Mooi meegenomen
- Software engineering in Python, Rust or another systems language
- Workload orchestration including job submission, scheduling and quotas
- Security experience with authentication, authorization and sandboxing
- Cloud operations with Google Cloud or AWS
- Applied ML and accelerated computing with PyTorch or ONNX
- Evaluation and retrieval with reproducible benchmarks
