Cross Border Talents is seeking an FPGA Designer to join their team in Almelo. You will be responsible for defining and realizing new VHDL firmware designs, as well as modifying existing ones. This role offers a professional work environment with opportunities for personal growth.

Wat ga je doen

  • Define and realize new VHDL firmware designs
  • Modify existing VHDL firmware including hardware/software interface
  • Specify and document requirements
  • Implement and simulate VHDL code
  • Test firmware in test setups and machine modules
  • Act as first point of contact for FPGA questions

Wat je meebrengt

  • Bachelor or master degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of industrial VHDL for FPGA design experience
  • Experience with FPGA design flow (Altera Quartus/Xilinx ISE)
  • Experience with functional and gate level simulation (Mentor Model Sim/Questa Sim)
  • Experience with FPGA debugging tools (ILA Chip Scope, Signal tap) and lab equipment
  • Good communication skills, proficient in English and preferably Dutch
