Quantware is looking for an RF Design Engineer to join their team in Delft, focusing on critical electromechanical components for quantum processing units. You will work on solving RF and microwave challenges and automating design processes.

Design critical electromechanical components for QPUs
Use CAD to design PCBs, silicon chip layout, and PCB-to-chip interconnect
Solve RF and microwave challenges like insertion loss and impedance matching
Create Python scripts to automate design generation and implement Design Rule Checks

Wat je meebrengt

MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF or Microwave Engineering
4+ years of hands-on RF engineering experience in deep-tech or low-volume hardware
Solid understanding of RF link budget calculations, S-parameters, Smith Chart, and matching networks
Experience with full-wave 3D electromagnetic solvers like Ansys HFSS or Q3D
Practical experience with RF testing using VNA and laboratory equipment

Mooi meegenomen

Experience designing circuit-level components like filters, couplers, and attenuators
Background in high-density interconnects, high frequency flex interconnects, or 3D packaging
Familiarity with superconducting technologies
Proficient in PCB layout design using KiCAD, Altium Designer, or Cadence
