Over de functie

As a Manufacturing Engineer at NTS in Drachten, you will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing production processes and equipment. You will collaborate with engineering and clients to ensure manufacturability, develop and validate processes, and drive continuous improvement in a precision-mechanical production environment.

  • Design, analyze, and optimize production processes and resources
  • Assess drawings for manufacturability and advise engineering and clients
  • Develop and validate production processes including test methods and PFMEAs
  • Identify production bottlenecks and propose concrete improvements
  • Design and implement new or improved processes and measuring tools
  • Advise on the purchase of machines, tools, and measuring equipment, and support prototypes and scaling

Wat je meebrengt

  • Completed higher professional education (HBO) in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent thinking level
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical production environment, preferably in machining or precision mechanical production
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality assurance, with demonstrable experience with PFMEA
  • Result-oriented and proactive in identifying and utilizing improvement opportunities
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
